Warriors of Love is the story of a few of the spiritual masters whom I’ve met over the past fifteen years. Despite what mainstream opinion would have you believe, women are ritual leaders in Islamic contexts. This book documents my dogged quest to uncover the truth that Sufi women not only exist, but lead thriving communities in North America and Turkey, India, Senegal and Pakistan.
